A man in the sunset years of his life
Here is the way I think that Iraq will end up. Iraq will revert to the pre-British arrangement. Three regions or maybe countries, Kurdish, Sunni and Shia. The Sunnis will get the short end of the stick. Many Sunnis will be slaughtered by the Shia. I don’t think that there is anything that the US is willing to do that will change the eventual outcome.

I am just a man who is looking at the sunset of my life. The blazing daytime heat is being replaced with the coming coolness of the evening. The colors of the western sky are the memories of my life, the reds of hot times, the blues of good times. As the sun sinks into the night, the heat of doing is being replaced by the colors of remembrance until all I have left are the memories as I pass into the darkness. Yet as beautiful as the memories are, I still fight for the heat of doing and being. I don't want the day to be over! Please tell me I can stop the sun from setting. If anybody thinks we got into this to make the kurd, sunnis and shia get along, they are nuts.
There was never anything we were going to do to change that area. It's all about lies, money, and ego that has us over there.
I hate bush as much as I would have hated Saddam if he were my leader. He's a terrorist, too, and no better.
