Termite Damage

I am at my sister and brother in-law’s house to help with repairs to get their house ready to sell. One of the big things to be repaired was some termite damage. Well, it was bad. The whole corner of the house was eaten away. I am surprised the corner of the house had not fallen. I have been working every day shoring up the corner. Then I will need to replace sub-floor and some siding on the house. I had not expected this much damage to repair.

My Grandfather was a carpenter and a lot of his work was doing repair to houses damaged by termites. I have some of his tools with me and I sure that they feel at home working on a termite damaged house.

After the corner of the housed is repaired, then its on to other repairs. Now if I could get my knees to stop hurting I could get this done faster. My mind is young but the body is old and tired.
