I'll be visiting my son

the next three weeks. I leave early Wednesday morning and return on the twenty first. My wife is going with me. This is the first time we have traveled together to visit my son in many (maybe five) years. After about a week my son and his girlfriend are going to Paris France to spend a week there. While he is gone I will be looking out for and overseeing his business. I have done this for him several times in the past. I don't have to do much, just deposit the checks that come in each day. If needed I can write checks but I have not had to do that yet. If a customer has an emergency, I usually just get hold of the tech and route them to the customer. If it is going to be a while before the tech can get there I may go to see what I can do (usually not much) and to show the customer a quick response to their need and to hold their hand until the tech, the real help, arrives. Although once I was able to get the customer up and running again all by myself.

The wife and I plan to do some sightseeing while we are on the west coast. And we will get to visit with my granddaughter, she is nine. I will be posting off and on about the happenings while there.
